About me and my passion for RC
I got into rc about 4 years ago when a neighbour who was moving, gave me a box of rc stuff in it, he told me it was old from the early 80's. so I started surfing the web to find out what he gave me, I found out it was a 1979 Latrex Corvette all there including the remote and receiver it even still worked, and he gave me a 1984 Tamiya pajero with the thicker body. So, I started upgrading them Now the Latrex has a 15 turn motor in it, and the Pajero has an 18t motor in it and does some wicked wheelies. From there I had a large 1/18th scale diecast collection of about 250 diecasts. Sold most of them for cash, and traded the rest for a Tmaxx, a Tamiya GTX awd drift car a glider airplane and a bunch of rc motors and servos receivers and transmitter and a electric rc helicopter, I got all of those running and repaired and traded them off for electric rc stuff. That is how I biult my collection. The only ones I have bought were the VROOOM rc boat at a local hobby shop it was there on consignment, and the MPC Italeri yacht I bought on ebay, I enjoy all my rc vehicles and use them all accept for the airplane i just got that on a trade and I haven't uased it yet. Thank is how I got started in rc and what I want next is a SR-71 Blackbird rc airplane electric, and a competition rock crawler, it looks fun.
