I bought this Buggie as a Roller from NitroHouse.com. It was one of the few 1/8th Scale Buggies at the time that had been converted to electric from the ground up. I have since added a Tekin RX8 Combo 2000kv Truggy Motor and a HiTec 7955TG Servo controlled by a Spektrum DX3R DSM 2 Radio. This is a great kit right out of the box. Although there is no Mud Guards and the Body was from the original Hyper 9 Nitro version. Although this kit does have the 17MM Shocks. The Proline Wheels and Tires (Crime Fighters) are top notch. If you decide on a 42mm Can such as the Tekin make sure to get a 15 Tooth Pinion Gear (32 Pitch) Mod 1's otherwise the can will rub the Differential Cup. I had one of the Pro Racers (Sponsored) take the car through it's paces on a highly technical clay track. Not one wreck, and he said he would not change a thing. Made me very proud.

The Hyper 9e electric 1/8 buggy is not just a converted nitro buggy. It has a new chassis and center differential location for better weight distribution which provides superior handling characteristics. The chassis has been embossed to reduce flex and the center differential has been moved to the rear to move the motor forward for better balance.
